Dawson, who has earned AFCI’s certified film commission designation, has committed her career to building a strong sustainable film industry in Hawai‘i as manager of the Hawai‘i Film Office and looks for ways to continually share her knowledge, expertise and insights with her film commission colleagues around the world.

She is currently a Manager of Environmental Sustainability at The Walt Disney Company, where her primary role is developing and overseeing sustainability on the feature films, television shows, and documentaries produced by the company’s many studios. Prior to her role at Disney, Lisa was the Director of Sustainability at 20th Century Fox, leading Fox’s sustainable efforts on production as well as at the iconic Fox Studios Lot in Los Angeles and Fox Studios Australia.
